New England is at your fingertips! The beauty of a bareboat charter is that you decide where you want to go. Even if you have a captained charter, it is up to you! Below are a handful of sample itineraries to give you an idea about where you can go, and in what timeframe.

By far one of the most popular destinations. An island off the coast of NY & RI, Block has all kinds of amenities from sandy beaches, biking along rolling farmland, and late night entertainment with many restaurants and bars.
We like having fun along the way to Block with stops along the way. Two of our favorites are Clinton, CT, an easy to access and protected harbor with a great casual restaurant and nice beer selection, or in Greenport, NY, packed full of shops and restaurants. There are many other stops as well! If you want to maximize your time at Block Island, you can shoot straight there from Port Jefferson if you leave early and keep your speed up! |
Head out to the Vineyard to rub elbows with other salty new englanders at this ideallic storybook island. Pull your yacht into one of several quaint harbors amongst cedar shingled fishing shacks and some of the country's finest culinary restaurants. The Vineyard has plenty to see and do while there... boredom is not an option!
You are going to want to stop and visit the many quaint towns on the way to Martha's Vineyard, so we recommend at least a 2 week charter so you can take in all the sites when you get there! |
An opportunity of a lifetime... sail under the New York City skyline! Buzz by Battery Park then head over to The Statue of Liberty for a close up look of lady liberty.
Marianas on both the New Jersey and New York sides give you options for overnight stays on board your own boat while you enjoy the city nightlife! Extend your trip and head up the Hudson river for a unique opportunity to tour upstate New York via the water. |
One of the most charming New England towns nestled up the Mystic River, Mystic is a popular destination for shopping and historical buffs alike. Visit Mystic Seaport, the nation's largest maritime museum, and step back into time and experience sea-going life from centuries past. Have an ale in the basement pub of the Daniel Packer Inne or step into Mystic Pizza for a slice and a little movie paraphernalia.
Mystic's varied marinas and docks offer plenty of easy access overnight accommodations, many within walking distance of town and all the attractions. A perfect stop on your way to or from Block Island or Newport! |
